Police looking for man who robbed Inwood bank Wednesday morning

INWOOD, W.Va. — Authorities are looking for a man who robbed BB&T Bank in Inwood on Wednesday morning.

Reported at 9:57 a.m., the robbery at 139 Hovatter Drive off W.Va. 51 is being investigated by West Virginia State Police Trooper C.S. Maynard, who confirmed the incident.

Officials said the suspect was described as being 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall. The suspect was wearing a mask, dark hooded jacket and dark jeans when he robbed the bank in southern Berkeley County and then fled, officials said.

No additional information was available Wednesday.
