Readers share their Christmas ornaments stories

December 23, 2012

Ornaments are more than decorations on a Christmas tree. With each hook, they hold a memory.

They could be a store-bought ornament that was given to mark a milestone in your life. Or maybe it was a handmade item made by your babies who are now grown-up and have babies of their own. Maybe it was a gift from your grandmother who loved you unconditionally, but sadly passed away years ago.

We asked our readers to share with us their stories and a photo about their favorite ornaments and we had a wonderful response. Some made us laugh. Some made us cry. One thing they all did — they touched our hearts.

Here are their stories. Happy reading and happy holidays.
