State College topples Chambersburg

BOYS BASKETBALL

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — A rough second quarter doomed Chambersburg in a Mid-Penn Conference Commonwealth test against State College.
The Trojans (3-3, 1-3) were outscored by State College 21-5  in the quarter and then tried to come back with a 25-16 advantage in the fourth quarter.
Kellen Williams had 22 points and four assists for the Trojans, Kyle Myers had 14, Tay Charles 11 and Mitch Stahl 10.
Kyle Kanaskie led State College (5-1, 4-0) with 19 points and Jason Costa added 17 as the Little Lions hit 10 3-pointers.

ROCKVILLE, Md. — Antonio Jenifer scored a game-high 33 points, including three 3-pointers and added eight rebounds to lead Hagerstown past Montgomery College in the Maryland JuCo Conference.
Christian Leach had 16 points, including three 3-ponters, Kervin Rameau had 11 points and nine rebounds, Donte Thomas had 11 points and seven assists and Antwan Pittman had 10 points for the Hawks (14-2), who made 10 3-pointers in the game.
