THURMONT Md. — Nick Karlen had 11 points to lead North Hagerstown past Catoctin 58-38 on Tuesday night in the MVAL Antietam.

Kenny McCrary had nine points, 14 rebounds and three steals, Andrew Yacyk had eight points, 10 rebounds and three blocks, Max Ober had six assists and four steals, Isaiah Keyes had eight points and four assists, and Will Peralta added eight points and nine rebounds for the Hubs (3-2, 2-1).

BRUNSWICK, Md. — Zach Hossler scored 18 of his game-high 29 points from beyond the arc to lead Brunswick to an MVAL Antietam victory over Smithsburg.

Collin Nusbaum had 16 points and five assists, and Dallas Darling and Kyle Coats added eight rebounds each for the Railroaders (4-1, 2-1).

Ryan Bolton made four 3-pointers en route to 17 points, Cedric Barnes had 12 points and Josh Miller added eight points, including two 3-pointers, for the Leopards (2-3, 1-2).

CUMBERLAND, Md. — Fort Hill (1-1) outscored Broadfording 23-8 in the first quarter and stayed out in front in Monday’s victory.

Moni Anderson led Broadfording (9-3) with 21 points, seven rebounds and six steals. Isaiah Daniels had 16 points, four rebounds and three assists.

Mawdo Sallah picked up three fouls in the first quarter for the Lions. He finished with nine points and eight rebounds.

Kristy Erfurdt had 18 points, Mackenzie Smith 11 and Amanda Hackney 10 as Catoctin (4-1, 3-0) remained unbeaten in the MVAL Antietam by beating the Hubs.

Crystal McLeod led North (1-4, 1-2) with 16 points and was the only Hub in double figures. Kayla Peterson added eight points, seven rebounds, five assists and five steals. Samiyah Williams had five rebounds.

The Cougars raced to a 26-11 lead at halftime.

SAXTON, Pa. — Macey Hollenshead had 22 points and 11 assists to lead Southern Fulton over Tussey Mountain in a battle of undefeated teams in the Sideling Hill League.

The Indians (5-0, 3-0) led 22-20 at the half before turning the defense up a notch in the third quarter. Southern Fulton forced turnovers to jet to a 37-25 lead over Tussey Mountain (3-1, 1-1) and never looked back.

Kayla Chilcote had 13 points and five rebounds for Southern Fulton, while Taelor Morton added 10 points and five assists. Hollenshead and Morton each had three steals.
