19-year-old Hustontown, Pa., woman sexually assaulted

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. — A 19-year-old Hustontown, Pa., woman told police she was raped on a McConnellsburg street Friday, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The woman said she was walking along South 7th Street when a large unknown male forced her from the road and sexually assaulted her in a dark area between two homes between 1:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m., Pennsylvania State Police said.

The male then fled the scene, state police said.

Copper tubing stolen

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. — Copper tubing was stolen from baseboard heaters in a house in the 9700 block of Timber Ridge Road in Belfast Township in Fulton County earlier this month, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Copper tubing from a water heater to the baseboard units also was stolen, state police said.

The burglary and theft, in which 120 feet of copper tubing was stolen, occurred Dec. 6 or 7, state police said.

IESI garbage can stolen

QUINCY, Pa. — An IESI garbage can was stolen from behind Susquehanna Bank at 7357 Anthony Highway in Quincy Township last week, Pennsylvania State Police said.

The container was stolen Tuesday or Wednesday, state police said.
