The employees of the Memorial Recreation Center would like to congratulate one of their own youth, Akeela Palmer, who has gone on to accomplish great things. To add to her many accomplishments, Akeela has been accepted to Penn State University.

The Memorial Recreation team is proud of her.

“For all you do as a volunteer at the center, thanks. Congratulations, job well done,” the center’s staff said.

Holiday party

The 17th annual holiday party featuring Precious Petites will be held at the Just Lookin’ Gallery, 40 Summit Ave., Saturday and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m.
