Earl B. Driggers, 59

Earl Bruce Driggers, 59, of 10016 Melody Lane, Hagerstown, Md., died on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at his home.

Born Feb. 28, 1953, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Rosa Moore Sine of Hagerstown and was preceded in death by his stepfather, Odis Sine on June 9, 1980.

He graduated in 1970 from South Hagerstown High School.

Bruce was employed with Mack Trucks Inc., retiring in 2008. He was also employed with the State of Maryland as a correctional officer at Roxbury Institute.

He attended the Hagerstown Church of the Brethren.

He was a former, active member of the Hagerstown YMCA.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Louise Driggers; one daughter, Shelby Driggers of Hagerstown; two sons, Jeff Rohrer of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Ryan Driggers, and his wife, Anita, of Falling Waters, W.Va.; two sisters, Mary Brull and her husband, Dr. Robert Brull, of Hagerstown, and Brenda Wood of Knoxville, Tenn.; one brother, Charles Driggers of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and two grandsons.


Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Edward L. Poling will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.
