Ronald L. Ross, 65

Ronald L. Ross, died Friday, Dec. 7, at his home in Hagerstown. He was 65 years old.

Mr. Ross was an accounting professor at Frostburg State University from 1982 to 2012. For the last 10 years of his career, he served as the MBA coordinator at the university. He was also a practicing accountant and a partner in Graber and Ross LLC from 1990 to 2004. Previous employment included operations management positions with Maiden Form and Hagerstown Leather Goods.

Ron was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army.

Originally from Brooklyn, N.Y., Ron graduated from Brooklyn Tech High School and Polytechnic Institute of New York University with a degree in engineering. He lived in Hagerstown for 40 years.

Ron was an avid scuba diver and took great joy in traveling. He was a wonderful friend to all who knew and loved him.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Nat Ross and Evelyn Montagne Ross. He leaves a sister, Meredith McKinney, and a nephew, David McKinney, who live in New York.

A Celebration of Life honoring Ron will be held at USMH, 32 W. Washington St., Room 125 on Thursday, Dec. 13, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
