Greencastle man found by U.S. Marshal’s Service

GREENCASTLE, Pa. — Police found a Greencastle man last Friday who was wanted by the U.S. Marshal’s Service for violation of probation and parole, according to the Greencastle Police Department.

Loren Andrew Kilurn, 30, was found at a house on West Dahlgren Street, police said.

Kilurn was wanted for violation of probation and parole on an original charge of bank robbery, police said.

Air conditioner stolen in Peters Township

MERCERSBURG, Pa. — An air-conditioning unit was stolen in the 7100 block of Stitzells Road in Peters Township last month, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The unit was stolen between Nov. 18 and 21, police said.

Shots reportedly fired in Waynsboro


WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Waynesboro police were investigating several reports of shots fired Monday night.
At approximately 8 p.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired into an occupied home on West Second Street, police said.

Shortly after going to that home, police received additional calls about shots fired in the area of West North Street. Police said a vehicle parked in the area was struck by several bullets.

There were no reported injuries, police said.

Rock thrown at moving vehicle on Pa. 16

GREENCASTLE, Pa. — A rock was thrown Nov. 16 at an automobile windshield on Pa. 16 at Rabbit Road in Antrim Township, Pennsylvania State Police said.

The rock was thrown from a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction, state police said.

The damage was estimated at $200.
