Hagerstown police looking for man who robbed Wesel Blvd. bank

A man robbed The Columbia Bank at 1571 Wesel Blvd. of an undisclosed amount of money Wednesday morning, according to Hagerstown Police.

Lt. Paul Kifer said a man went into bank around 11 a.m., wrote a note demanding cash and showed it to a teller.

Kifer said the teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of money. No weapon was displayed, Kifer said.

The suspect fled the bank and got into white Chevrolet Cavalier driven by a woman, police said in a news release. The vehicle was last seen heading north on South Burhans Boulevard, according to the release.
