Florence Elouise Harper, 95, formerly of Hagerstown, Md., died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home in Boonsboro, Md., where she was a resident.

Born Dec. 22, 1916, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Walter Charles and Susan Mae Myers Artz.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Harper, in 1981.

She was a lifetime member of Hagerstown Church of the Brethren, a member of the Mary Martha Circle and a former deacon.

She was a former member of the Washington County Hospital Auxiliary and the Friendship Homemakers Club.

She is survived by one daughter, Judith S. Dahlhamer of Hagerstown; two granddaughters, Karen Ann Smith of Boonsboro and Brenda Kay White of Hagerstown; two great-grandsons, Joshua Smith and Bradley Smith; and a daughter-in-law, Anita J. White.

She was preceded in death by one son, Fred White.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Edward L. Poling will officiate. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
