Shepherdstown Community Club Christmas bazaar begins Friday

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. — The Shepherdstown Community Club’s Christmas bazaar kicks off on Black Friday and will be held for 11 days across five weekends (Nov. 23-25, Dec. 1-2, 8-9, 15-16 and 22-23).

The bazaar opens at 10 a.m. each day and closes at 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23; 7 p.m. on Saturdays; and 6 p.m. on Sundays.

The bazaar is at the Shepherdstown Community Club Building, also known as the War Memorial Building, 102 E. German St.

The bazaar will feature handcrafted work of local and regional artists and crafters each weekend. Some sellers will be there each weekend, while others rotate in and out. Show-goers will have a selection of unique handcrafted items to select from, including  pottery, fused glass, photography, fine art, woodcraft, jewelry and clothing, warm knitted and crocheted items and specialty food items.

Admission is free.

The Shepherdstown Community Club supports many civic events, cultural activities and social gatherings as well as public facilities such as the War Memorial Building and Morgan Grove Park.
