The Hagerstown Police Department has released security camera photos of a man they believe robbed an East Wilson Boulevard pharmacy at gunpoint Sunday night.

Police describe the man as 5-foot-9, approximately 25 to 35 years old, black with a medium complexion and medium to heavy build, according to an emailed news release.

The robber had a handgun when he entered the CVS store at about 8:19 p.m., went directly to the register and demanded money, police said. The store clerk complied and the robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

At the time of the robbery, the man was wearing a plain gray, full-zip sweatshirt with the hood up and light gray sweatpants, police said. He also wore a white bandana with red spots covering his face, police said.

Hagerstown police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man. Anyone with information may contact the police department at 301-790-3700 or by emailing crimetip@hagerstownpd.org.
