Master Gardener Holiday Workshops —  Fresh Holiday Centerpiece Workshop — Saturday, Dec. 1, 1 to 3 p.m., $25; Fresh Wreath Workshop II — Tuesday, Dec. 4, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., $15. Added to accommodate demand.

Fresh Holiday Candle Wreath Workshop — Thursday, Dec. 6, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., $25; Kissing Ball Workshop — Saturday, Dec. 8, 9 to 11 a.m., $25

Please bring clippers, small pruners or scissors and gloves. All other supplies will be provided.

New Strong Women Classes Forming — Due to strong demand, another series of Strong Women Workshops are being offered. Here is the updated schedule:

To reach the Washington County Extension office, drive about seven miles south of Hagerstown from the I-70 exit onto Sharpsburg Pike.

The office is in the Washington County Agricultural Education Center complex.

The Franklin County, Pa., Extension office is at 181 Franklin Farm Lane, Chambersburg.

From Hagerstown, take Interstate 81 north to the U.S. 30 east exit. Take the first road to the left, which is Franklin Farm Lane.
