Following is a list of organizations that are providing Thanksgiving dinners:
Nov. 21 — The Salvation Army will provide a meal for the needy at the Daily Feeding Program on Wednesday. Students from Hagerstown Community College will assist. The meal will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Wise Street facility.
Nov. 22 — Bethel United Methodist Church, 21006 Twin Springs Drive, Chewsville, will serve a free Thanksgiving dinner with trimmings for people of all ages Thursday from noon to 2 p.m. For more information, contact Linda Warehime at 301-733-8387 or email@example.com.
Nov. 22 — Boonsboro Bible Church will host a community Thanksgiving dinner Thursday from noon to 4 p.m. The dinner is free and open to public at the church, 6741 Old National Pike Boonsboro. For more information, call 240-818-8469.
Nov. 22 — A free turkey dinner will be offered at Memorial Recreation Center on Thanksgiving Day from noon to 4 p.m. The Community Partnership Event is sponsored by area churches and nonprofits. Memorial Recreation Center is at 109 W. North Ave. in Hagerstown. For more information, call 301-790-0203.
Nov. 22 — A free turkey dinner with all the trimmings will be offered by The Hope Center at the Hagerstown Rescue Mission beginning at 11:30 a.m. The meal will be at Trinity Center on Walnut Street between Franklin and Church streets. Crafts and games for children will begin at 11 a.m.
