Obama voters have made their bed

To the editor:

The election results show that many of us did not take into account that so many people could be bought and paid for.

Obama has divided this nation into two Americas — the producers and the takers. Right now, the takers outnumber the producers.

Obama and the Democrats have expanded the number of people who go through life thinking they are entitled to other people’s money and have sold their vote in exchange for some handout paid for by the decreasing number of people still working.

Just like London, Greece, Spain, France and all over Europe, we are seeing how the takers are bleeding their nation dry. Why work when someone else can finance your wants, needs and desires?

Do Obama voters really think the triple whammy of tax increases (the desired Obama tax increases, Obamacare taxes kick in and the Social Security tax holiday expires) will really spur economic growth?

We are already seeing the results of Obama winning a second term as the number of layoffs, bankruptcy filings and business closings continue to mount. Major restaurant chains have announced reduction in hours of full-time workers to less than 30 hours per week to avoid the tax impact of Obamacare.

I wonder how many of these people who voted for Obama now realize they could be out of a job by the end of the year?

We have seen the Dow react to Obama’s re-election and his quest to punish achievement. As of the date of this letter, the Dow has sank about 800 points as investors bail out and take profits before the coming tax increases.

As the U.S. steams ahead to bankruptcy and another economic recession, I say to the Obama voters: You made your Obama bed, now lie in it.
