Beaver Creek Christian Church, community Thanksgiving eve service, 7 p.m. Wednesday. Pastor Eric Moser will give the message.

Blairs Valley First Church of God, Clear Spring, Thanksgiving harvest home service with a presentation by YROC, 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, Thanksgiving eve service, 7 a.m. Wednesday. Pastor Len Smith will speak on What Happened to Thanksgiving? The offering will go to Hagerstown Rescue Mission and nonperishable food donations will go to Clear Spring Food Bank.

Cedar Grove Mennonite Church, Thanksgiving eve service, 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Christ Lutheran Church, Thanksgiving eve service, 7 p.m. Wednesday. Service will be combined with a healing service. Food will be accepted for the food bank at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.

Concordia Lutheran Church, Thanksgiving eve service with communion, 7 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Emil Gretarsson’s topic will be Give Credit Where Credit is Due.

Downsville Christian Church, Downsville, Williamsport Ministerium’s Thanksgiving eve service, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Manor Church of the Brethren Choir will sing. Food donations and a monetary offering will be taken for Williamsport Ministerium’s Food Bank and outreach fund.

Grossnickle Church of the Brethren, Myersville, Md., Wolfsville community Thanksgiving eve service, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. The theme will be Yet I Will Rejoice. Pastor Tim Ritchey Martin will give the sermon. Singers from local churches will join the Grossnickle choir for special music. An offering will be received for Weekend Food Backpack program for the Middletown, Md., feeder schools.

Mount Zion Lutheran Church, Rohrersville, community Thanksgiving eve service, 7 p.m. Wednesday. An offering will be taken for South County Food Bank.

Mount Vernon Reformed United Church of Christ, Keedysville community Thanksgiving service, 7 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Bob Brennan will preach on Investing in Our Inheritance.

Pikeside United Methodist Church, Pikeside, W.Va., community Thanksgiving service, 10 a.m. Thursday. Pastor Bob Cook is host pastor. Community clergy will share leadership in the service, including Unitarian Pastor Sea Raven, who will offer music vocally and on the harp. Non-perishable food will be received for Berkeley County Loaves and Fishes. The offering will go to support ministries of C-Cap.

Presbyterian Church of Waynesboro, ecumenical Thanksgiving service, 3 p.m. Sunday. Canned goods offering will go to Waynesboro Community and Human Services. Monetary offering will go to support WAFC missions in the community.

St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Williamsport, Williamsport Minsterium Thanksgiving eve service, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Pastor Joy Zepp will preach. Food donations and a monetary offering will be taken for Williamsport Ministerium’s Food Bank and outreach fund.

St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, Thanksgiving eve service, 7 p.m. Wednesday. Offerings of cereal will be shared with St. Mark’s Food Bank and cash offerings will go to Holly Place.

St. John’s Episcopal Church, Thanksgiving eve communion service, 7 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Ann Boyd will speak on the topic Looking for Thankfulness. The  parish choir will sing. A pie social will follow the service.

St. John’s Lutheran Church, Thanksgiving eve worship, 7 p.m. Wednesday. St. John’s senior choir will sing.

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Boonsboro, Thanksgiving service, 4 p.m. Sunday. St. Mark’s parish choir will lead the service of hymns, anthems and readings from scripture. A pot-luck supper follows the service at 5 p.m.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Sharpsburg community Thanksgiving service, 7 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Mark Wastler will preach.

St. Peter’s (Beard’s) Lutheran Church, Smithsburg, Smithsburg Area Church Association will hold its Thanksgiving Eve service, 7 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. David C. Baker will speak. Donations and canned goods will be accepted for Smithsburg Area Food Bank.
