2. Flower arrangements

Washington County Master Gardeners will demonstrate Thanksgiving flower arrangements from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 17, at Hagerstown City Farmers' Market, 25 W. Church St., downtown Hagerstown. A raffle will benefit the hungry in the community.



3. Christmastime

Hagerstown tree lighting will be at 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Public Square, intersection of South Potomac and Washington streets, downtown Hagerstown. Lou Scally will be master of ceremonies for the tree lighting. North Hagerstown Brass Band and South Hagerstown Brass Quintet will perform. Free face painting, hot chocolate and refreshments. Free. 4. Hollyfest

Local students and children's groups will perform Hollyfest at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, The Maryland Theatre, 21 S. Potomac St., downtown Hagerstown. 5. Free music
