November 14, 2012

Two males, one displaying a handgun, stole cash during an armed robbery at Hartle’s Subs at 1301 Marshall St. on Wednesday night, according to a Hagerstown Police Department spokesman.

The males entered the sub shop about 6:44 p.m. and demanded money, said Sgt. Andrew Lewis.

An undetermined amount of money was taken, Lewis said.

Both of the black males had items obscuring their faces, Lewis said. One male was wearing a blue shirt with a yellow hood and the other male was wearing a gray hooded shirt with a white mask, Lewis said.

The police department’s criminal investigation division is investigating the robbery and anyone with information about the robbery can call city police at 301-790-3700. Information can also be sent to crimetip@hagerstownpd.org.
