CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Families wishing to apply to receive gifts for their children this holiday season can register with Chambersburg’s Marine Toys for Tots Foundation from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Registration will be held at the Marine Corps League at 450 Grant St., according to a news release.
Several events have been planned to help generate support for the mission.
An all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner will be held at the Marine Corps League from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28. Special activities are also scheduled at M&S Harley-Davidson, 160 Falling Spring Rd, and Your Barber Shop, 512 Lincoln Way East.
Photographers from LA Cameras will be at the motorcycle dealership on Saturday, Dec. 1. Anyone wishing to donate money or a new, unwrapped toy can have their picture taken with Santa Claus on his Harley between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The barber shop will be transformed into “Santa’s Village” on Dec. 8, giving children of all ages another opportunity to snap a photo with Santa. Chili, cookies and other refreshments will be available at the event, which is scheduled from 8 a.m. to noon.
All toys collected will be distributed at the North Pointe Business Center on Philadelphia Avenue on Sunday, Dec. 16. Hours will be announced.
