Fugitives wanted on drug charges arrested in Martinsburg

Dallas Cook and Meagan Teets were both wanted on charges of delivery of heroin and conspiracy to deliver heroin

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Two fugitives wanted on charges of delivery and conspiracy to deliver heroin were arrested on Porter Avenue in Martinsburg on Tuesday, after officers followed up on a tip from the public.

Dallas Cook, 35, and Meagan Teets, 28, were both wanted on charges of delivery of heroin and conspiracy to deliver heroin, according to a news release from the U.S. Marshals Service, which was asked to assist in locating and apprehending Cook and Teets.

On Nov. 2, the task force began looking for Cook and Teets. Multiple addresses related to the two were checked in Berkeley and Jefferson counties. On Nov. 7, the public was asked to help find Cook and Teets, who were believed to be traveling back and forth from Baltimore to the Martinsburg area.

On Tuesday, Cook and Teets were seen and a tip was called in to the Martinsburg Police Department, according to the news release. Officers responded to an address in the 200 block of Porter Avenue and Cook and Teets were apprehended.
