Name: Jacky

Age: About 3 years old

Color: Brown and white

Breed: Rex guinea pig

ID: A15385030

Jacky is believed to be a Rex guinea pig because of her short, wiry fur.

All guinea pigs can be sensitive at first but with love, gentle handling and some owner education they can be fantastic pets. Timothy hay is a must for these small creatures.

Jacky and many other animals are available for adoption at The Humane Society of Washington County, 13011 Maugansville Road, north of Hagerstown. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Animal visitation begins at 10 a.m. daily. Closed on Sunday.
