The Rotary Club of Long Meadows has selected Justin Harbert to join the club. Harbert is a native of Hagerstown.

Harbert is a graduate of North Hagerstown High School and Frostburg State University, and taught middle school for a year before joining Mercedes-Benz of Hagerstown, where he is general manager of the dealership.

The club selected Harbert because they believe he exemplifies the object of Rotary, which is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis for worthy enterprise.

Rotary consists of more than 34,000 clubs worldwide, whose members volunteer in communities at home and abroad to support education and job training, provide clean water, combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, and eradicate polio.
