Jane Bernice Pope, 85, a resident of Broadmore Assisted Living, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center.

Born Sept. 1, 1927, in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of the late William and Geraldine (Wall) Foreman.

Jane graduated from Hagerstown High School.

Jane retired from First National Bank.

She was an active member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church.

She was a past member of Conomac Lions Club, past board member of Washington County Chapter American Cancer Society, and was the J. C. Penney Golden Rule Award Recipient for her volunteer work at Paramount Elementary School.

She is survived by one son, Dr. Todd A. Harrison; one sister, Shirley Haymes and her husband, Josh Haymes; one brother, William Foreman and his wife, Shirley; and was lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Lauren Sproles and husband, Ben, Paige Harrison, Gregory Harrison, and Eric Harrison; nephews, David and Mark Haymes; and niece, Jennifer Kriner.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Raymond Harrison, Glenn Divelbiss and Merritt Pope.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Emmanuel United Methodist Church. The Rev. Randall Reid will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

There will be no viewing. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church.

Omission of flowers is requested by the family, and memorial donations made to Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Capitol Campaign, 802 Summit Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21740.

Arrangements are by Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.
