GREENCASTLE, Pa. — The PB Knickers Mid-Atlantic Chapter held its third annual golf tournament for charity on Sept. 15 at the Greencastle Greens Golf Course.

Each individual chapter of the Knickers selects one charitable cause to support and represent for its annual tournament.

The charity that the chapter has selected is Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund Inc., which is a charitable organization whose mission is to provide financial and educational assistance to surviving U.S. military children, spouses and severely disabled veterans affected by the Iraq or Afghanistan wars.

For more information about the charity, go to www.cfsrf.org.

The chapter has hosted three tournaments at Greencastle Greens over the last three years and has raised more than $20,000 for the charity.

This year’s tournament raised $7,130.40 for the charity. It was presented on Oct. 16.

Next year’s tournament is set for Saturday, Sept. 14, at Greencastle Greens. It will be a 9 a.m. shotgun start, four-player scramble format.
