Bonnie Lou Murray, 66, of Chambersburg, Pa., passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at Chambersburg Hospital.

Born Aug. 2, 1946, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert A. Mundorff and Pauline Davis Mundorff.

A homemaker most of her life, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially with her granddaughter.

She was a 1964 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School.

Bonnie worked as an assistant to her parents in her early years, working at The Homespun Inn in Chambersburg until its closing in 1973. She had a passion for animals, traveling and shopping, especially on QVC. She loved QVC’s Quacker Factory clothing.

Surviving is her son, Robert W. Murray of Chambersburg; granddaughter, Makayla Murray; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Murray Jr.

Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, where the Rev. Rennis F. Bowers will officiate. 

The family will receive friends Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service Friday. Interment will follow the service in Norland Cemetery.
