  • Washington County Museum of Fine Arts' Singer Society will host is annual Treasure Sale this weekend. The event features a variety of donated items for sale. A preview reception with refreshments will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at the museum, City Park, Hagerstown. Cost for the preview is $20. The sale will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3. 1. Treasure, treasure everywhere

Washington County Museum of Fine Arts' Singer Society will host is annual Treasure Sale this weekend. The event features a variety of donated items for sale. 2. A extremely large exhibit of work

Doug Moulden's exhibit "The Darkness of My Night and the Brightness of My Day'" will be on display at the  Washington County Arts Council, 14 W. Washington St., downtown Hagerstown. Continues through Tuesday, Nov. 27. Reception 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. 3. 'Happily Ever After'

Dianne Bolyard will sign copies of her children's book, "Happily Ever After: The Ultimate True Fairytale" from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 3, at Messiah Methodist Church, 30 S. Penn St., Shippensburg, Pa.


4. Coming down the tracks

Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum, 300 S. Burhans Blvd., Hagerstown will have displays include HO-scale model railroad, trains for kids to operate, historic railroad equipment, artifacts and photos. Hours are 1 to 5 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. $4; 50 cents for ages 4 to 12; free for ages 3 and younger. Call 301-739-4665.



5. Bueller, Bueller, Bueller

"Ferris Bueller's Day Off: The Musical" will be at 8 p.m. Fridays, Nov. 2 and 9, Saturday, Nov. 3; 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at The Academy Theater, 58 E. Washington St., downtown Hagerstown.
