2. Tiny pieces of artwork
Miniature Art 2012 will open Friday, Nov. 2, with a reception from 4 to 7 p.m. at Council for the Arts, 159 S. Main St., downtown Chambersburg, Pa. More than 200 original works of art will be on display, including oil, watercolor and acrylic paintings; drawings; hand-pulled prints and sculpture. Exhibit continues through Friday, Jan. 4. Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Call 717-264-6883.


3. Shake a tailfeather

5. Woman's work

 Allison-Antrim Museum, 365 S. Ridge Ave., Greencastle, Pa. will host the exhibit,"The Progressive Era and Women's Suffrage." The show opens from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, and continues through November.
