WAYNESBORO, Pa. — A newly hired business administrator in the Waynesboro Area School District will be making $93,000 a year under a two-year contract.

The Waynesboro Area School Board on Tuesday authorized the hiring of Shippensburg, Pa., resident Thomas Dick, who will start in the role in January.

A former director of transportation and facilities for Greencastle-Antrim School District, Dick most recently worked as the business manager of Bermudian Springs School District in York Springs, Pa. He has a master’s degree in business administration from Frostburg State University.

The school board had approved a “separation from employment” for former business administrator Robert Walker effective Sept. 22.
