St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, at 1020 Maryland Ave., will hold an open house Thursday, Nov. 1, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. for its Parents Day Out program.

The program is a nursery/preschool that meets Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The program runs from September through May.

Children learn numbers, shapes, the alphabet, and other concepts through games and activities. This frees time for parents to go to appointments or other commitments.

Children are welcome to come to the open house. For more information, call Cheryl at 301-791-1773.
