Cyril Steven "Chris" Hamilton, 53, of 10537 Greenwich Drive, Williamsport, Md., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at Georgetown University Hospital.

Born Monday, Feb. 9, 1959, in Baltimore, Md., he was the son of the late Frank Joseph Hamilton and Joan Marie (Flock) Hamilton.

He graduated from Williamsport High School in 1977.

He was very active in doing research and public speaking for the National Hemophilia Foundation.

He was a big supporter of Save the Chimps organization.

He is survived by his companion of 24 years, Darlene Stuller of Williamsport; stepmother, Carol Davis Hamilton of Baltimore; sons, Derek Matthew Stuller of Kilgore, Texas, and David Christopher Stuller of Hagerstown, Md.; sisters, Joselyn Marie Marquis of Baltimore, Karen Jude Bodine of Hagerstown and Meghan Hamilton Thomas of Atlanta, Ga.; brothers, Mark Joseph Hamilton of Kent, Conn., Timothy Damien Hamilton of Seaford, Del., and Frank Joseph Hamilton Jr. of Baltimore; five grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and special feline friend, George.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, from 10 to 11 a.m.
