BOONSBORO — Stacey Christy had 11 kills, four blocks and two aces to lead Williamsport to a 25-21, 25-20, 25-21 MVAL Antietam sweep of Boonsboro on Dig Pink Night.

Lindsey Mowbray had 10 kills and two blocks, Haley Wolff had five kills, Courtney Malott had four kills and 12 digs, and Emily Taylor added 30 assists for the Wildcats (12-1, 6-1).

Taylor Williams had seven kills and two blocks, Meredith Craig had four kills and four blocks, Maggie Sullivan had five kills, Natalie Reeder had 13 digs, Rakel Wilson had eight digs, Shelby Wallace had 10 assists and Shelby Griffith added eight assists for the Warriors (6-5, 4-3).

Smithsburg 3, Catoctin 0

THURMONT, Md. — Amanda Snowden had 19 kills to lead Smithsburg to a 25-17, 25-21, 25-14 MVAL Antietam sweep of Catoctin (4-8, 3-4).

Haley Caudell had 10 kills and three blocks, Hollee Winders had six kills, Payton Belella had 34 assists and Marrissa Dangler added 20 digs for the Leopards (11-3, 5-2).

JV: Smithsburg, 2-1.

South Hagerstown 3, Brunswick 0

Victoria Pearl had 19 assists and 16 digs for South Hagerstown in a 25-23, 26-24, 25-23 MVAL Antietam sweep of Brunswick (0-13, 0-7).

Lexi Shaffer had seven kills and seven blocks, Noelle Seals had eight kills, and Kirsten Mohar added 22 digs for the Rebels (2-9, 1-5).

Greencastle 3, James Buchanan 0

MERCERSBURG, Pa. — Nakita Gearhart had 11 kills, five blocks and six digs to lead Greencastle-Antrim past James Buchanan (4-13).

Morgynn McKenzie had seven kills, three aces and six digs, Ashlynn Schaeffer had six kills, Chloe Hoover had four kills, four aces and two blocks, and Courtney Stump added four kills and six digs for the Blue Devils (16-2). Erin Koons had 21 assists, nine digs and three kills, and Claudia Hissong added four aces and seven digs.

BAKER, W.Va. — Casey Solomon had four kills and five digs, and Tiffany Michael added eight digs for Berkeley Springs (4-9) in a 25-11, 25-10, 25-8 loss to East Hardy.

Fulton Co. Christian 3, Highland View 2

Jenae Gordon had 17 kills and 12 digs to lead Fulton County Community Christian past Highland View.

Hannah Beddow had 22 assists, Bethany Myers had five kills and Rachel Weibly added six digs for FCCCS.

Mercersburg 2, Hampshire 1

HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. — Mercersburg lost to Hedgesville, 25-13, 25-14, but defeated Hampshire 25-10, 25-27, 25-17 on Thursday.

On the day, Elise Robbins had 11 kills, four blocks and four aces, Melody Gomez had nine kills and four aces, MacKenzie Brink had six kills and four blocks, and Kendra Cubit added seven aces for the Blue Storm (7-5).


Williamsport 4, Smithsburg 2

SMITHSBURG — Owen Marx recorded a hat trick to lead Williamsport past Smithsburg in the MVAL Antietam.

Hart Weaver added a goal, Colton Myers, Daniel Mata, Tiago DeSouza and Quentin Watson each had an assist and Corey Ellis made six saves for the Wildcats (8-4, 4-3).

Adler Garrett scored two goals, Jacob Dwyer and Willlie Sandstoe each had an assist and Adam Dwyer made six saves for the Leopards (1-11, 0-6).

JV: Williamsport, 2-0.

Fannett-Metal 8, Southern Fulton 3

WARFORDSBURG, Pa. — Morgan Strait scored two goals for the Indians in a loss to Fannett-Metal.

Taylor Bohrer had a goal and an assist, and Mason Bard and Dristen Mellott each had an assist for Southern Fulton (3-12).


Boonsboro 1, Clear Spring 0

CLEAR SPRING — Rachel Holmes scored an unassisted goal for Boonsboro in an MVAL Antietam win over Clear Spring.

Bre Springer made nine saves for the shutout for the Warriors (8-2-4, 4-1-2).

Tori Albert made five saves for the Blazers (7-5, 3-3).

Brunswick 4, South Hagerstown 1

Tori Mills scored for South in an MVAL Antietam loss to Brunswick (5-8-1, 4-2-1).

Alanna Thompson made 10 saves for the Rebels (1-10-1, 0-6-1).

HCC 2, Northern Virginia 1

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Mamadou Jallow scored for Hagerstown Community College as the Hawks won their fourth straight game and set a program record for victories in a season in the regular-season finalé.

HCC (13-6, 7-4) took advantage of an own goal by Northern Virginia, and Chucky Kipe made seven saves.
