Wound care is topic of community seminar Oct. 16

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — West Virginia University Hospitals-East and the WVU Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center Eastern Division will sponsor a community mini-medical school program on wound care featuring the new Center for Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine based at City Hospital.

The seminar, "All About Wound Care," will be Tuesday, Oct. 16, in the WVU Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center on the City Hospital campus. Sign-in begins at 6:30 p.m., and the program begins at 7, followed by a tour of the new wound care center.  Light refreshments will be offered at the conclusion of the tour.

The featured speaker is Dr. Robert Bowen, medical director of the Center for Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine, pulmonologist at City Hospital, and clinical associate professor for the WVU School of Medicine.
