Williamsport WWII Weekend

Event features German and Allied re-enactors, camps and vehicles, Today, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Today's highlights include guest speakers and unit demonstrations from noon to 2 p.m., a 1940s fashion show at 2 p.m.; and a battle at 3 p.m. Sunday highlights include a church service at the Springfield Farm Barn at 10 a.m.; guest speakers and unit demonstrations from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; a battle at 1 p.m.; and a Williamsport Town Band concert at 3 p.m. Call 301-223-7711.


Reptiles and amphibians

Cold Blooded & Company Reptile Show features more than 50 different reptiles and amphibians. Today, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Valley Mall center court, Halfway.


Fire Prevention Week party

Activities include free hot dogs and drinks, children's firefighter challenge, adult firefighter challenge, firetruck rides, firetruck displays and more. All areas of the station will be open to the public. Today, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Funkstown Volunteer Fire Co., 2 S. Westside Ave., Funkstown. Parking available at the Funkstown American Legion.


Winestock Harvest Festival

Harvest Hoedown

Halloween Bash

Masterworks I

Texas-based cellist Zuill Bailey will be the featured soloist for the Maryland Symphony Orchestra's "Famous Last Words," the first of five MSO Masterworks concerts. Today, 8 p.m.; Sunday, 3 p.m. The Maryland Theatre, 21 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown.
