Two sought in downtown Hagerstown home invasion

Two armed men barged into a home in downtown Hagerstown on Tuesday and ransacked the residence before leaving, Hagerstown Police said.

The incident occurred at 9:56 p.m., when the men pushed their way into a home at 133 E. Franklin St., according to a police department news release.

The men ransacked the residence and left, police said. No one was injured, and nothing was taken.

Both men were described as 5 feet 9 inches tall with thin builds. One of the men was white, and the other was black.
