FBLA fundraiser

The Clear Spring High School Future Business Leaders of America will hold its second scholarship fundraiser today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Jersey Mikes at the Shoppes at Hagerstown near Best Buy and Chipotle. All profits will support scholarships for the senior class at CSHS.

Country butchering
Wilson Ruritan will hold a country butchering and pancake breakfast Saturday, beginning at 6:30 a.m. 
The club is west of Huyetts Crossroads on U.S. 40. The menu includes all-you-can-eat pancakes with one serving of puddin’ or sausage patty or sausage gravy, coffee and orange juice.

It will be the first butchering event of the season. It will include scrapple, also known by the Pennsylvania Dutch name, pon haus.

Rummage sale
Park Head United Methodist Church will hold a rummage sale, bake sale and food sale Saturday at the fellowship building, off Interstate 70 east at Exit 9 on U.S. 40 in Big Pool. The sale will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
Homemade soups by the bowl or quart, steamers, hot dogs, and chili dogs will be available for purchase.
Proceeds will benefit the building fund.
