How did you get into your business, and what motivated you to start it? Eagler had always wanted to own a small business downtown, especially an ice cream shop (her dad’s idea years ago). Having a sweet tooth herself, she couldn’t limit herself to ice cream. The business needed cupcakes ... and more. Eagler asked Torres to join her in the venture and they started by selling cupcakes at the North Square Farmers Market. When a small space downtown opened up, they decided to jump on it.

Previous business experience: Torres’ background is in marketing and Eagler’s background is in fitness management. They used all the Small Business Development Center at Shippensburg (Pa.) University had to offer, and took advice from other business owners (family members).
