'Fill the Food Banks' concert Oct. 14 in Rouzerville

ROUZERVILLE, Pa. — State Sen. Richard Alloway, in cooperation with the Washington Township (Pa.) Supervisors, will host the annual “Fill the Food Banks” concert Sunday, Oct. 14.

Held from 1 to 4 p.m. at Red Run Park, the concert will feature Friends Creek Pickers and Old Tyme Gospel.

Guests are asked to bring non-perishable food to donate to Waynesboro Community and Human Services and the food pantry at Five Forks Church. Admission is free.

Refreshments, including hamburgers and hot dogs, will be available to purchase. Also scheduled are children’s activities.

People who are unable to attend but want to donate food can do so by dropping off donations at Alloway’s office on East Main Street, the Washington Township office on South Welty Road, or the Greater Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce on East Main Street.
