1. Rockin' for charity

The Tim Rotz Variety Show will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at The Maryland Theatre, 21 S. Potomac St., downtown Hagerstown. Rotz covers the classics of Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Broadway show tunes, gospel and a variety of country favorites. Proceeds benefit Barbara Ingram School for the Arts. 2. Friday night folk music

Connor Garvey will perform folk music Friday, Oct. 5, at Trinity Orchard House, 4599 Shepherdstown Road, Martinsburg, W.Va. Open mic sign-up, 7:30 p.m. $5 to $10 donation. Call 304-676-4422.


3. Creepy, crawly fun

The Haunted Theatre will be from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5,  and Saturday, Oct. 6, at Apollo Civic Theatre, 128 E. Martin St., Martinsburg, W.Va. $10. Children 13 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Food vendors and daycare provided. Go to www.apolloween.com.

4. Poetry at Shepherdstown

5. Of Feaste and Frolic
