McConnellsburg man charged with theft of washing machine

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. — A McConnellsburg man was charged with theft after loading a used washing machine into a pickup truck, according to a news release from Pennsylvania State Police.

Paul Shane Michael Deshong, 23, was charged with theft, police said.

State police stopped the truck as it was pulling out of 810 Lincoln Way East, the Fulton County Fairgrounds, at about 3:15 p.m. Sept. 26, police said.

The victim of the crime was listed in the news release as the Fulton County Fair Association.


Revolver stolen from car in Guilford Township

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — A black AMT .380 revolver was stolen from under the front seat of a 62-year-old man’s vehicle in Guilford Township on Sept. 25, according to a news release from Pennsylvania State Police.

The incident was in the 2000 block of Lincoln Way East, police said.


Tires slashed

PLEASANT HALL, Pa. — Tires on two vehicles on Park Road in Letterkenny Township were reported slashed Sept. 29, according to a news release from Pennsylvania State Police.
