Eat well for life set for Oct. 9

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — The Eat Well for Life program will be offered at WVUH-East, City Hospital and Jefferson Memorial campuses, through Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Eat Well for Life I is a lifestyle improvement program promoting wellness and long-term weight management through increasing physical activity and healthy eating.

Participants learn to make healthful food choices and are encouraged to adopt the nutrition practices needed to achieve a balanced lifestyle and long-term weight management.

Eat Well for Life I will be offered:

  •  Tuesdays, Oct. 9 through 30, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the McCormack Center on the campus of City Hospital, Inc. or
  •  Mondays, Nov. 5 through 26, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Hospital.

Open to the public. There is a fee for those without Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.
