Domestic altercation in Berkeley County leads to discovery of marijuana

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A Berkeley County’s Sheriff’s Office deputy’s response to a reported domestic altercation at a residence Wednesday led to the discovery of marijuana plants growing in the home, according to Berkeley County Magistrate Court documents.

Keith William Keesecker of 33 Diesel Ave. in Martinsburg was arraigned Thursday by Berkeley County Magistrate Jim Humphrey on one count of domestic battery second offense and one count of cultivation of marijuana, according to court documents.

One of the marijuana plants found was between 24 inches and 30 inches tall and the other was about 6 inches tall, according to court documents. They were found hanging in the bathroom skylight, according to court documents.
