Kara Stamper had 26 kills, 17 digs, eight service points and four blocks to lead Heritage Academy to a 21-25, 25-18, 25-11, 25-18 victory over Calvary Christian Academy in the Mason Dixon Christian Conference on Tuesday.

The Eagles (8-0) have won 45 straight best-of-5 matches. Their streak started at the beginning of the 2010 season.

Chloe Prejean had 36 assists, two kills and nine digs for Heritage, while Christi Jackson had 11 kills and five blocks, Brittany Horchner had 13 service points and three digs, Bethany Powell had 12 service points, three aces and eight digs, Hannah Gaylor had three kills and 10 digs and Nicole Gaylor had 21 digs in the victory.

JV: Heritage, 2-1.

Grace Academy 3, Faith 0

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Valerie Cole had 18 assists, eight service points and three aces to lead Grace Academy in a 25-23, 25-17, 25-19 Mason Dixon Christian Conference sweep of Faith Christian Academy.

Caitlin Cox had nine kills and eight digs, Heather Groves had eight kills, Allie Cox had five kills, 11 digs, nine service points and a block, Jess Gladhill had five aces and Jocelyn Quirple had six digs for the Knights (4-3).

Michele Brooks had 15 digs and two aces and Olivia Stoddard had four kills and nine digs for the Falcons (1-7).

Goretti 3, Bishop Walsh 0

CUMBERLAND, Md. — Jessica Swarner had four kills, four aces and five digs for St. Maria Goretti in a 25-20, 25-11, 25-18 sweep of Bishop Walsh.

Emma Hogan had seven assists, two kills and six digs and Abbey Eich had three kills, two aces and a block for the Gaels (3-3).


Greencastle 2, Waynesboro 0

Nick Adenhart Baseball Camp

There are still a few openings for campers for the Nick Adenhart Baseball Camp, which will be held Sept. 29 at Williamsport High School.

Baltimore Orioles pitcher Darren O’Day will be the featured speaker.

There also will be a silent auction, featuring a Jared Weaver autographed jersey, items from the Hagerstown Suns and Cedar Rapids Kernels (the Single-A team Adenhart played for), Nick Adenhart baseball cards and items from the Philadelphia Phillies. The auction is open to the public.
