September 18, 2012

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Police last month found 29 marijuana plants in the same room of a Gerrardstown, W.Va., home where they found more than 30 plants in June, according to court documents.

Paul David Horst, 44, and Rebecca Jane Barthlow, 53, of 204 Raccoon Lane, were arraigned Tuesday by Magistrate Harry L. Snow on charges of cultivation of marijuana and conspiracy, according to court records.

On Aug. 29, West Virginia State Police Cpl. J.M. Walker found the marijuana plants when he went to serve warrants on the couple for the June 19 discovery of 34 potted plants beneath grow lights in a rear bedroom, according to court documents.
