The Wildcats surrendered 394 rushing yards on 37 carries in the loss to Allegany. ... T.J. Boyer threw TD passes to Jack Kelly (55 yards) and Jesse Zeger (58 yards). He completed 9 of 23 passes. ... Nikolay Henze leads Poolesville with 143 rushing yards and 47 receiving yards this season.

The Rebels have outscored their first two opponents (Berkeley Springs and Francis Scott Key) by a combined 94-0. The Warriors beat their first two foes (North Carroll and Manchester Valley) by a combined 85-0. ... The Rebels posted back-to-back shutouts for the first time since 2002 (North Hagerstown and Dunbar); Boonsboro’s last were in 2008 (Southern Garrett and Poolesville). ... The Rebels have not started a season 3-0 since 1990, when they won their first four games. ... South RB Isiaha Smith has rushed for 476 yards and 8 TDs in the first two games this season. The Mavericks rushed for 125 yards and was in Boonsboro territory four times, but the Warriors forced three turnovers.
