A team of 20 volunteers from Citi’s Hagerstown operations center recently converged on Concord Street to help the Women Build and Apostles Build groups of Habitat for Humanity of Washington County.

The Concord Street project is a two-story duplex that will be sold to two Habitat partner families.

Habitat has plans to renovate four existing houses to help six low-income, hardworking families achieve the dream of home ownership this year in Washington County.

Citi also presented Habitat with a check for $11,000 to be used toward its 2012 build season and the six homes designated for Habitat’s qualified partner families.

Citi and the Citi Foundation have supported Habitat for Humanity International affiliates around the world for more than a decade with millions of dollars in donations and thousands of volunteers.
