Shepherd offers lessons in voice, instruments

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. — The Shepherd University Department of Music Preparatory Division is now accepting registrations for the fall 2012 semester.

Students of all ages interested in taking individual lessons in woodwinds, brass, percussion, piano, voice, guitar, bass guitar, strings (violin, viola, cello or double bass) theory or jazz improvisation, are eligible for lessons with faculty and student instructors.

The registration fee for the preparatory division is $25 per semester.

Preparatory instructors set their own weekly lesson rates, and teach half-hour and hour lessons depending upon student level.

Lessons will be at the Frank Center on the campus of Shepherd.
