Women hurt in Pa. crash

SCOTLAND, Pa. — A head-on collision at the intersection of Scotland Road and Sycamore Grove Road resulted in injuries to a 91-year-old driver, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release.

Police said Margy G. Tice of Chambersburg, Pa., was driving a Chevrolet Malibu that ran a stop sign at about 12:15 p.m. Sunday.

She suffered major injuries, police said in the news release.

Also severely injured was Cynthia J. Tiedemann, 52, of Harrisburg, Pa., police said. She was a passenger in the Honda Civic involved in the crash.

The Civic’s driver — Frank Paoli, 60, of Fayetteville, Pa. — suffered minor injuries, police said.

The news release did not state to which hospitals the victims were transported.
