Margaret Louise (Fiddler) Cosgrove, 79, of Prince George, Va., and formerly of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Friday, Sept. 7, 2012.

Born March 29, 1933, in Leetown, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Mamie Johnson Fiddler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ray Cosgrove; an infant son, Harold Wayne Arvin; brothers, Herman, Marion, Robert and Mahlon Fiddler; and sisters, Daisy F. Clipp, Helen F. Gettel, Violet Fiddler and Mildred Fiddler.

She is survived by her sons, Edgar Lonnie Arvin and wife, Sherry, James Richard Cosgrove, and Dwight David Cosgrove and wife, Vickie; grandchildren, Angie Arvin and fiancé, Kyle Collins, and Michael R. Cosgrove and wife, Amy; great-grandchildren, Taylor Rudisill, Kelsie Collins and Logan Cosgrove; brother, Kenneth Fiddler; and sisters, Mary Dowler, Shirley F. Howe, Marie F. Davis and Mamie F. Harnish.

A funeral service will be Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Va., with Pastor Raleigh Nunnally officiating. Interment will be in Bermuda Memorial Park, Enon, Va.

The family will receive friends Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
