John Wayne Moser, 60, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at the Western Maryland Hospital Center.
Born June 12, 1952, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Jerome C. Moser and Patricia Ann Young Moser of Hagerstown.
He graduated from North Hagerstown High School in 1970.
He was employed by the Washington County School System as a bus driver.
He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, North American Rod and Gun Club and Morris Frock American Legion Post 42.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Judy McCoy Moser; daughter, Casey L. Swope of Hagerstown; sister, Linda Stevenson and husband, Morris, of Waynesboro, Pa.; brother, Gary Moser and wife, Cindy, of Hagerstown; grandchildren, Randi S. Moser and Devyn W. Swope; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, with the Rev. G. Stanley Steele officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday one hour before the service at the funeral home.
